NIGHT SKIES

SYNOPSIS

The mayor of bankrupt Detroit is pleased with the safe city she has provided for the residents. Her efforts to rid the city of criminals results in the revitalization of the city and a new renaissance.

The mayor’s success is due in part to a pact with the Vampire Lord, Dimitri. Dimitri and the Vampire Nation have the mayor’s approval to kill the criminal elements of the city by night. The mayor in exchange provides the vampires police protection during the day against vampire hunters.

Mayor Blue struggles with this alliance as college kids are killed. There is a war brewing between the city residents and vampires, set up by a vampire rival of Dimitri. The new vampire in town wants to spark a human and vampire war, paving the way for him to take over the Vampire Nation from Dimitri and use the entire Motor City as a feeding ground. Blue and Dimitri both try to avoid a conflict, however, war on the streets is inevitable. The mayor’s daughter and Dimitri’s son complicate matters by being romantically involved.

A war is ignited. New weapons are developed by the police chief to destroy vampires. Blue and the police take on the rebel vampires while Dimitri vanquishes his vampire rival just in time to save his son and Blue’s daughter from certain death.

Mayor Blue and Dimitri come to understand that to save the city and their way of life, they must first save themselves from each other. The two leaders agree to develop a new pact with the understanding, it is in both their political and personal interest to work together. However, lurking in the shadows is a surviving rebel vampire ready to plot revenge.
